    1. This policy (together with the documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which we will process any personal data which we collect from you, or that you provide to us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By engaging us to provide services for you, or visiting (our “Site”), you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

3.2          you are a registered learner/user of the web2jobs platform  (a “Client”); or

3.3          you have asked  to access the learning materials and participate in the ‘learning community’ on the web2jobs platform .

4.1          by filling in forms or questionnaires (whether on our Site or on paper);

4.2          when you subscribe to use our Services;

4.3          when you register to use our Site;

4.4          by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise;  and

5.3          age on registration;

7.1          the “Sponsoring Organisation” for whom, or at whose request, you are using the Site (which will typically be your employer, prospective employer, college, school, university or training provider);

7.2          our sub-contractors in technical and delivery services; and

7.3          analytics providers.


We use information held about you in the following ways:

8.1          to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us or between us and your Sponsoring Organisation (see Paragraph 7.1 above). This may include reviewing and advising on your responses to our evaluation surveys. See Paragraph 12 below for further detail;

8.2          to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;

8.3          to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;

8.4          to notify you about changes to our service.

  1. Information we collect about you: We will use this information:

9.1          to administer our Site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;

9.2          to improve our Site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;

9.3          to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;

9.4          as part of our efforts to keep our Site safe and secure; and

9.5          to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of our Site about goods or services that may interest you or them.

  1. Firstly, and most importantly, we will not disclose any information which you provide to us as part of the web2jobs modular, blended learning programme unless you have specifically consented to such disclosure.
  2. Secondly, we will not pass on or sell your information to any unconnected third parties to use for advertising or marketing purposes.
  3. Subject to Paragraphs 12 and 13 above, your information may be shared with:

13.1       where you are a client (see Paragraph 3.3 above), your Sponsoring Organisation (see Paragraph 8.1 above);

13.2       those administrators and technicians involved in the set up and management of your account and the database of learning resources;

13.3       staff and associates involved in the delivery of our services;

13.4       other professional experts involved in anonymous statistical analysis of large groups of participants in this service for research, evaluative, validatory and continuous improvement purposes (you will not be identifiable in or contacted in connection with any such activities);

13.5       the Education, Culture and Audiovisual Executive Agency. EACEA which is entrusted with the implementation of programmes and activities on behalf of the European Commission. ;

13.6       any member of the web2jobs consortium, which means the partner organisations of the consortium and their subsidiaries (as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006).

  1. Subject to Paragraphs 11 and 12 above, we may disclose your personal information to additional third parties:

14.1       if We or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data we hold will be one of the transferred assets;

14.2       if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or

14.3       if strictly necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the partners in the web3jobs consortium, our customers/client, or others.


  1. The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us, for one of our subcontractors or for one of our associate distributors. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
